Privacy Policy
We respect your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect when you use neonskyai.com or any service we operate, how we use that information, and the rights you have over it.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Information you submit
When you fill out a form on our website (assessment request, quiz, contact, demo booking), we collect:
- Name, email address, phone number
- Business name and details you provide
- Free-form messages and answers to quiz or assessment questions
1.2 Information collected automatically
When you visit the site we automatically receive:
- IP address, browser type, device type, referring URL, pages visited, timestamps
- Cookies and similar identifiers set by Google Analytics (measurement ID G-VHKT2Z2Q9W) to count visitors and understand which content is useful
1.3 Information from connected accounts
If you connect a third-party account (Facebook Page, Instagram Business, Google Business Profile, Telnyx number, Stripe or Helcim merchant) to a NeonSky service, we receive only the data those platforms send us under the scopes you grant. Details are in section 4 below.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To respond to your inquiry and deliver the services you request
- To send service-related messages (project updates, invoices, scheduled reports)
- To improve the website, content, and services based on aggregate analytics
- To meet legal, accounting, or tax obligations
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it for third-party marketing. We do not use your information to train public AI models.
3. Cookies and Analytics
We use Google Analytics to count visits and understand page performance. Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser; these can be cleared or blocked through your browser settings. We do not run advertising trackers or remarketing pixels on this site.
4. Facebook, Instagram, and Other Connected Platforms
When you authorize NeonSky AI to manage a social media account on your behalf, we connect to the platform's official API. The following describes our use of Meta Platforms (Facebook and Instagram). Other connected services follow the same principles, scoped to the data each platform provides.
4.1 What we receive from Meta
- The Facebook Page ID, name, and profile image of Pages you grant access to
- The Instagram Business account ID linked to that Page
- A Page Access Token (encrypted at rest, stored on Canadian-region servers, used only to publish content and read engagement metrics)
- Engagement metrics on posts published through NeonSky (reach, impressions, likes, comments, saves) for reporting back to you
4.2 What we do not access
- Direct messages on Facebook or Instagram
- Personal profile data of your followers or commenters beyond what appears publicly on a post
- Page admin personal information beyond what Meta provides at OAuth time (your name and email)
- Audience insights, ad accounts, or business financial data unless you explicitly grant a separate scope
4.3 How long we keep it
Page access tokens are refreshed every 50 days and rotated immediately on revocation. All Meta-derived data is purged within 30 days of account disconnection.
4.4 How to revoke access
You can disconnect NeonSky at any time:
- Email david@neonskyai.com with the subject line "Disconnect Meta access"
- Meta-side: facebook.com/settings → Apps and Websites → remove "NeonSky AI"
4.5 Data deletion request endpoint
Per Meta Platform Policy, we provide an automated data-deletion endpoint at:
https://neonskyai.com/admin/api/meta_data_deletion.php
This endpoint receives signed deletion requests from Meta when a user removes our app from their Meta account, and we delete the associated data within 30 days.
5. How We Protect Your Information
- Data is stored on servers physically located in Canada (Hostgator Canadian data center) or in Render's North America region
- Access tokens for third-party platforms are encrypted with AES-256 at rest
- Database access is restricted to authenticated administrative users over TLS connections
- We do not store credit card numbers; payments are processed by Helcim or Stripe under their own PCI-compliant infrastructure
6. Retention
We keep contact-form submissions and project records for as long as our business relationship requires plus a reasonable archive period for tax and legal compliance (typically seven years in Canada). You can request earlier deletion at any time, subject to legal retention obligations.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate information
- Request deletion of information (subject to legal retention obligations)
- Withdraw consent for processing at any time
- File a complaint with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada
To exercise any of these rights, email david@neonskyai.com. We will respond within 30 days.
8. Children
Our services are intended for business owners and operators. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, email us and we will delete it.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as our services evolve or as required by law. Material changes will be announced at the top of this page for at least 30 days. The "Effective" date above always reflects the current version.
